Christopher ‘Chris’ Lee Hachmann
1972 – 2005

Christopher ‘Chris’ Lee Hachmann, 32, died Monday, May 30, 2005, at his home in Lenoir City, Tennessee.

Chris was born on June 12, 1972, in Fargo, ND, the son of David and Nancy (Stine) Hachmann. He was a 1991 graduate of Parkers Prairie High School. After high school he worked for a fish foundry until enlisting in the United States Navy in 1993. He was stationed at San Diego, California. During his eight years of military duty, he was to every part of the globe. His duty assignments were aboard the U.S.S. Dixion and the U.S.S. Hurricane. While in the service, Chris received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. In 2001, he was honorably discharged and then began working at Grady Foundries in St. Cloud. In March of 2005, he moved to Lenoir City, Tennessee and worked for Bingham Electric until the time of his death.

Chris’ passion was hunting and being in the outdoors, whether it was with his family or his buddies. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his father David Hachmann, grandfather Earl Stine, grandmother Rose Hachmann, grandfather Jack Hachmann, aunt Jacklyn Hachmann, and uncles Daniel Hachmann and Dennis Hachmann, Sr.

Chris is survived by his wife Shauntel Hachmann of Lenoir City, TN, his mother Nancy (Stine) Hachmann of Alexandria, sisters Nicole (Brian) Schmit of Clear Lake, and Sheena Hachmann of Alexandria, nephew Zachary Fagre of Alexandria, his grandmother Waiva Stine, aunts and uncles Dale Hachmann of Wisconsin, Dean (Una) Hachmann of Minneapolis, Tanya (Ron) Herrschaft of Pennsylvania, Nancy Hachmann of Lenoir City, TN, Sherri (Norman) Corey, Joyce (Gene) Heald, Bob (Joanne) Stine, Sheila Nelson, Paul (Jodi) Stine, Wayne (Karen) Stine, along with many cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, June 3, at the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services with full military honors were at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee.
