Sandy Lorine
1945 – 2005
After a courageous battle fighting a medical condition complicated by the rare disease, myasthenia gravis, Sandy Lorine, 60, of Montgomery, Texas, left this world to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 24, 2005. Sandy was surrounded by her loving husband, children and pastor at the time of passing.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 13123 Hwy 105 West, Conroe, Texas 77304 at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 1st, with the Reverend Michael W. Rinehart officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Grace Lutheran Church, Memo: Sandy Lorine Memorial Fund.
Sandy grew up in Parkers Prairie and was a graduate of Parkers Prairie High School. Sandy was always involved in many volunteer and church activities. While raising her children, she completed the requirements for and received a B.S. Degree in Accounting at the University of Houston in 1989. Sandy’s hobbies included gardening, quilting, needlework, scrap booking, reading, photography, and listening to classical music. Her favorite activity was caring for and surrounding herself with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother as well as an excellent mentor and example for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Esther and Orville Olson. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Dave Lorine, her children Shari Mann and husband Scott, David Jr. and wife Veronica, Darrin and wife Jennifer, grandchildren Samantha and Sydney Mann, Jonathan Lorine and Gary Shaver, brother David Olson and wife Meg, sister Judith Moe and husband Doug, along with many nieces and nephews.
