David L. Snook
1980 – 2005

David L. Snook, age 24, a resident of Eagle Bend, formerly of Deer Creek, died on Sunday, October 2, 2005, at the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria, as the result of a car accident.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2005, at Salem United Methodist Church in Deer Creek with Rev. Alan Anderson officiating. Organist is Maribell Curtiss. Burial will take place at Inman Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday at the Lind Family Funeral Home in Parkers Prairie. The visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are by Lind Family Funeral Service, Parkers Prairie Chapel.

David Lloyd Snook was born on December 29, 1980, to Leland and Linda (Tuffs) Snook in Wadena. He grew up in Deer Creek, attending school in the Deer Creek/Wadena School District. Following his education, he worked construction for George Gunderson of Vining and Showcase Homes in Parkers Prairie. He was working for Alex Concrete as an equipment operator at the time of his death. He was engaged to be married to Lori Chezem of Eagle Bend. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and riding snowmobile.

David is survived by his parents Leland and Linda Snook of Deer Creek, two sisters Charlotte (and Daniel) Jacquart of Hewitt and Kayla Snook of Deer Creek, his fiancee Lori Chezem of Eagle Bend and her children Keisha, Jorden and Chelsea, his step-grandmother Lorraine Finstad Tuffs of Perham, nephews Austin and Jonathan, niece Margaret along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Christina Snook and maternal grandparents, LeRoy “Bud” and Margaret Tuffs.
Pallbearers will be Kevin South, Scott Turchin, Randy Turchin, Ronald Turchin, Gayle Snook and Daniel Jacquart.
