Henry “Gordon” Uhde
1930 – 2005
Henry R. “Gordon” Uhde, age 75, of Brooklyn Park died peacefully surrounded by his family on September 12, 2005, after a two year illness.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents Richard & Selma, sister Mildred, brothers Alvin, Kenneth and Clayton. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Gerry and children Linda Fiets, Ken Stone, Cheryl Blake, Chuck Stone and Anne Uhde-Platt (and Vincent) Platt, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, extended family Sandy O’Hotto and Pat Stone, sisters Florence (Donald) Brostad, Donna (Dennis) Evensen, and Carol Holt, brother Charles “Bud” Uhde, Chester (Betty) Uhde and James Uhde along with many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Gordon worked for many years in road construction and the snow plowing business. He loved working in his garden and farming.
Funeral services were scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, September 15th, at Elk River United Methodist Church 1304 Main St., Elk River.

Interment will be in the Bailey Station Cemetery, Big Lake.

Memorials preferred to Resurrection Lutheran Church, Blaine.
